Alberta Craft Council Gallery & Shop

Celebrating 30 years of growth and success!

The Alberta Craft Gallery is Alberta’s only public gallery dedicated to fine craft and Edmonton’s second-largest public gallery. This Provincial Arts Service Organization develops, promotes and advocates for fine craft in Alberta.

Since 1980, the ACC has profiled craft arts through exhibitions, marketing, awareness projects and information services to its membership and to the general public. The Alberta Craft Gallery Shop is the best venue for a wide selection of original fine craft including pottery, blown glass, jewelry, fibre art, home accessories and furniture from more than 150 professional and emerging craft artists.

Tom McFall

The Alberta Craft Council and Tom McFall, its Executive Director, were presented with the 2009 Rozsa Award for Excellence in Arts Management.  Unique in Canada, the Rozsa Award celebrates the outstanding achievement of an individual working in the complex profession of arts management, and provides award money, professional development opportunities, organizational benefits and mentoring valued at more than $100,000.

In 2009, the Alberta Craft Council partnered with the Canadian Crafts Federation to present more than 45 Alberta craft artists at the renowned Cheongju International Craft Biennale in South Korea. Alberta Craft Council members participated in the national exhibition, Unity & Diversity, the International Craft Fair and an art and cultural tour of Korea.
